I personally think that he was trying to insult the couple more so than having a racist rant against Jewish people. I think that he only thought of bringing Hitler up because the couple were asking him about blonde hair and blue eyes and just said that remark to insult opposed to expressing his beliefs. I do think that it is cheap and incorrect to use Hitler and the crimes he commited to try and insult someone but I think that the way in which he expressed himself has been misunderstood.
